Eyewitnesses To 100 Years Of Tibet（见证百年西藏）

Tibetan society has underwent four major transformations from a closed society to an open one, from a combination of church and state to a separation of the two, from feudal control to ethnic autonomy, and from a traditional society to a modern one. But how have these transformations been accomplished? The authors, some deceased and some in their eighties or nineties, of this book have witnessed the transformations and social changes of the two eras and recount their own experiences in detail, in order to present the consequential historical events in Tibetan society from their own perspectives and in an authentic and objective light.
